Maritime Certificate and Vision and Hearing Test for Recreational Sailors<\/span><\/h1>

If you plan to work at sea, you\u2019ll need a valid seafarer\u2019s certificate. If you\u2019re a recreational sailor, you may be required to have a \u201cvision and hearing test.\u201d <\/p>\n

This certificate verifies that you are medically fit for sea service and is a legal requirement of the Danish Maritime Authority.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The medical clinic offers maritime medical certificates and recreational boating medical certificates to everyone within two weeks. If you\u2019re in an emergency situation and need a certificate, we can often accommodate your request. <\/p>

You do not need to be a patient at our medical practice to have a medical certificate issued.<\/p>
