This is done in accordance with Chapter 6 of the Danish Authorization Act and the Executive Order on Medical Records.<br\/>This privacy policy describes how we process, use, and disclose your personal data. <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Types of Information<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We collect and process the following types of information, as applicable:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>General information:<\/strong> name, address, email, phone number, social security number, gender, relationships, employment, and education.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sensitive information:<\/strong> health information (medical records, test results, scans, etc.), sexual orientation, race\/ethnicity, and religion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Purpose of the processing<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We process your information in order to:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Examine, diagnose, and treat you<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare certificates and medical statements<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communicate with other healthcare professionals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prescribe medication and issue prescriptions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit data to databases and settle accounts with the region<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comply with legislation and ensure data protection<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Investigate security breaches and respond to inquiries<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Handling inspections, complaints, and disputes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct statistical and research analyses<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Volunteering<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Information is provided voluntarily. If you choose not to provide information, we may not be able to treat you. <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sources<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We also collect information from other healthcare professionals and electronic systems, as appropriate.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Disclosure of Information<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your information may be shared with:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Other healthcare professionals regarding treatment needs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Public agencies (the Danish Patient Safety Authority, the Danish Health Data Authority, RKKP, and others)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Police, courts, and government agencies as provided by law<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pharmacies and the Danish Medicines Agency via FMK<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Regional Settlement Offices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clinical Quality Databases<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Insurance companies and next of kin (with consent)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Legal Basis<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The processing is based on:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>General Data Protection Regulation, Art. 6(1)(c\/d) and 9(2)(c\/h) <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chapter 6 of the Authorization Act<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sections 5\u201310 of the Bookkeeping Regulation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Health Care Act, Chapter 9, Sections 60, 157, 195\u2013196<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) and 9(2)(a) <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Withdrawal of Consent<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If the processing is based on consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time. This will not affect any processing that has already taken place. <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Use of Data Processors<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We use the following data processors:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>WinPLC System House (log system)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>DAK-E (Digital Care Plans)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>DMDD, Webreg, Webpatient (laboratory and questionnaires)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Storage<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We retain your information for at least 10 years from the date of the last entry in the record, in accordance with Section 15 of the Record-Keeping Order.
