Going forward, subsidies will only be provided if all other relevant oral treatments for type 2 diabetes have been tried\u2014and the patient\u2019s condition is still not well-controlled. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ozempic may then only be prescribed as an adjunct, typically as a third- or fourth-line treatment option. Reimbursement must be applied for on a case-by-case basis and will only be approved if the criteria are met.
