The rationale behind this includes, among other things, the desire for seamless patient care across sectors and an EU directive aimed at enhancing patients\u2019 understanding of their own care and improving patient safety. <\/p>\n<p>Starting January 1, 2027, medical records will therefore be available to patients after midnight on the day they were in contact with the clinic.
