A triage is a brief assessment, lasting just a few minutes, to determine whether the inquiry concerns an acute, subacute, or non-urgent matter that can wait until the next available appointment. Our staff conducts the triage for all inquiries. .
A brief phone call with the doctor
If the staff reviewing an inquiry find grounds to do so, they can refer the matter to a doctor or schedule a brief consultation with a doctor. A telephone consultation with a doctor is used only for matters that the staff cannot handle on their own or following a doctor’s instructions. A telephone consultation with a doctor is a very brief conversation.
Check-in time
An appointment slot lasts 10 minutes and can be with a staff member or a doctor. There is no limit to the number of topics a patient can bring up, but they must do so within the allotted time, and during those 10 minutes, the doctor or staff must also have time to write a medical note, etc. You CANNOT book back-to-back appointments.
Video call
A video session lasts 10 minutes and will primarily feature a doctor, but may also include other staff members. There is no limit to the number of topics you can bring up, but you must do so within the allotted time, during which the doctor also needs to write a medical note. You CANNOT book back-to-back appointments.
Email Consultation
You can contact the medical office by email. These are intended only for non-urgent inquiries regarding a brief question that requires a brief response. NOTE: - Only 1 email per day- No appointments via email- No chat feature as with private emails.
Skin Conditions
We have introduced 5-minute skin consultations, which are intended for a quick assessment of a skin problem. During these consultations, other issues cannot be addressed.
Annual Audit
An annual checkup is an annual examination for a chronic condition. These appointments are so comprehensive that the discussion will focus solely on the chronic condition in question. If you have any other questions, you'll need to schedule an appointment for another day.
SMEAR
A Pap smear (cervical screening) is a cell sample taken from the cervix. It is a screening test, and these appointments must be limited to this procedure. If you have any other questions, please schedule another appointment for a different day.
Pediatric / Prenatal Care
These appointments are intended solely for pediatric checkups or prenatal checkups/follow-ups. For other issues, you'll need to schedule another appointment for a different day.
Laboratory Tests
Our laboratory staff will only perform tests that have been ordered by the doctors at the medical center or by Bornholm Hospital. We will not address any other issues here. You can contact the secretariat to schedule an appointment or ask any other questions you may have.

Municipal Certificates
In the event of illness, the municipality may require medical certificates, which must be completed by a doctor together with the patient. Since a certain amount of time has been set aside for these appointments, cancellations must be submitted by 11:00 a.m. the day before.
If you fail to show up at the scheduled time, it will not be possible to reschedule.
Insurance Certificates
The medical practice issues medical certificates for our patients’ insurance companies. Since this is a private service, a fee will be charged for no-shows, and a new appointment cannot be scheduled until the fee is paid.
No-show fee: 300 kr.
